This is an amazing family-owned restaurant with fresh, homemade ingredients and delicious options for everyone. I come here often—whether it’s lunch or dinner, solo, with family, or with friends—and it has never disappointed. I especially love finishing my meal with a coffee from their great selection, and if you have a sweet tooth, their local ice creams, sorbets, and treats are outstanding. Hands down, a solid 5/5!

Quaint little restaurant in downtown Smithville. Serves hot food but we only had dessert, icecream by the scoop and homemade cookies. Nicely decorated with a nook with a tv and couches along side dining tables.

My husband and I went in tonight and shared a dinner plate and then multiple desserts. Everything was excellent and the staff were lovely. My husband is the type who always likes to try new places, but I will be ensuring we repeat this one! Also you must try the bread pieces- they are so unique and delicious. Love this place! I bet you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

Love this place. Love the owners. Love the food. Love to see a local owned family business thriving in a small town. We always take our out of town guests here and recommend it to anyone who will listen. Updated and expanded menu from Your Mom's. I'll miss the chicken fried steak but the shrimp and grits, and burger, and so many other options make up for it. Greek burger is really good too.

One of those restaurants that's only open on the weekends in a sleepy little town for a few hours a night. I almost don't want to write this review so it stays chill and in crowded but I guess if your reading this now, its worth your time to drive to Smithville and eat the best cheese burger you have had in a while. They also have othey amazing dishes but the burger was amazing for me.

We love this place and this family. The care and warmth of the service carries through with the delicious food, which as the sign says is served with love. Just came from their special Valentines dinner which was wonderful - worth the drive from Austin! UPDATE: we took a friend and she agreed, even better than we had said! UPDATE: some great new menu items and restaurant modifications - all good!

This place definitely has an atmosphere. However it may be a little too warm for many on hot Texas evenings . The Cajun food was really full of flavor. Give it a try but stick to the Cajun Meals. No table service and no adult beverages. Second visit party of four. Great improvement all of our meals were good. We only had one bad item. The gumbo was burned and the chicken in it was really dry. Tasted like maybe they just kept it warm for a couple days and burned the bottom of the pan.
